Welcome to Rolling Thunder Kennels

We are a small family run kennel that has owned and hunted with German Wirehaired and German Shorthaired pointers for nearly 15 years. All of our focus now has gone toward the German Shorthaired Pointer breed. We currently own two and absolutely love thier field abilities, personality, and temperments. We hunt and campaign our dogs in AKC and a few American Field Trials.

We are located 45 minutes nortwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Within a short drive of some superb training grounds, grouse woods, and within a few hours drive of the Western Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota for hunting of pheasants and sharptailed grouse.

You can see us or our dogs this spring at the folowing trials. If i'm not at a specific trial the dog(s) will be under the tutledge of Phil Mathiowetz of Windwalker Kennels out of Goodhue, MN.
